Lions at Large
The Barnwood Park Lion Cub has now arrived in school! Over the next few weeks, 4 students will be transforming our Lion Cub, and we will also be running a competition to come up with a name.
In the Summer of 2025, Lions at Large – The Pride of Gloucestershire Trail will be ‘roaring’ onto the streets of Cheltenham and Gloucester!
There will be over 30 large Lion sculptures, designed and painted by local artists, joined by the Cub Club – a pride of little Lions lovingly created by local schools and community groups.
Money raised from the Lions at Large will go towards the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity for a proposed new cancer care facility in Cheltenham with digital consulting rooms, space for state-of-the-art research, as well as a therapeutic outside space.
