Barnwood Park hosted an Easter Multi-Skills Festival for local primary school children. Over 30 of our students ran a variety of fun activities. Everyone had a great time!

We've had a very successful visit from the Scholastic Book Fair. There was a great range of books to choose from, with The Hunger Games novels proving very popular. We made £384, which meant we were able to choose £96 worth of new books ready for everyone to enjoy in the library...
Three Year 7 students represented Barnwood Park at the Foreign Language Spelling Bee Final in Bath. The students did a brilliant job and should be very proud of themselves. Well done!
Lask week over 90 students performed in our annual dance show Centrestage. Well done to everyone who took part and all those who helped behind the scenes! The shows were fantastic.

GCSE Music students had a brilliant afternoon attending a performance by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Gloucester Guildhall. This was a unique opportunity for students to engage with professional musicians and enhance their understanding of the GCSE Music syllabus.
We welcomed Steve Eadon; Founder of Mingalaba, in to school to speak with our Year 9 students about the opportunities that come with learning languages.
Steve worked for Arsenal FC for over 10 years on their modern languages project inspiring young people to learn a language.
